I attended Saint Patricks High School Banbridge but after completing my GCSE’s I knew I did not want to pursue the academic route anymore and wanted to join an apprenticeship scheme to become a specialist Barber.

Having completed a City & Guilds level 3 in Barbering I did my Barbering Apprenticeship with the SRC and in the Dugout Barbers in Banbridge. To enhance my skills I completed several part-time courses including The Hot Towel Shave with Paul Meekins Hair Academy, Belfast.

I would like to tell other young people not to despair if academic studies are not for them, there are other options out there!
